COMMUNITY FUNDSESSEX COMMUNITY FUNDIn 2003, a group of concerned Essex, New York residents partnered with ACT to create a permanent endowment fund dedicated to serving the Town of Essex and its residents. This affiliation assures donors the prudent and discrete management of Essex Community Funds. Today, close to $100,000 has been raised or pledged for ECF which strives to assist individuals, families, businesses and nonprofits with the preservation, maintenance, and enhancement of the natural ecology, environment, heritage, culture, and aesthetic qualities of the Town of Essex. There have been $20,000 in grants made to support organizations responding to the needs of the Town of Essex. Click here to read more about the grants made by ECF or to download a grant application.
