SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS > WILLIAM T. LOWE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

William T. Lowe, local author of Adirondack mystery stories, lives and writes in the Adirondacks.  Mr. Lowe's stories have appeared in ALFRED HITCHCOCK MYSTERY MAGAZINE and in anthologies in the U.S. and abroad.  Bill was inspired to create the William T. Lowe Scholarship because he feels strongly that "a college education is necessary today for a student to become proficient in any chosen field of study, and the college experience also imparts a personal maturity quite valuable in later years." Grant awards will range between $1000 and $3000 to a graduating senior of Plattsburgh City School District of high scholastic standing who wishes to pursue studies in journalism, English or teaching.
