Decker, an enthusiastic journalist from Saranac Lake, then an Assistant Managing Editor of the Watertown Daily Times. This scholarship will provide financial assistance to college and graduate students from the Tri-Lakes (Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, and Tupper Lake) and Watertown, NY area who have an interest in newspaper journalism as a career. Summer internship and special projects in journalism will also be considered for support. |
